Ms. Nasim Malmir has been selected as the Featured Artist for Autumn 2025 by Artistam International Art Magazine.
The fourth issue of Artistam Magazine was dedicated to the fields of jewelry and adornment. Among all the works selected for publication, the works of the esteemed artist Nasim Malmir received the highest score from the editorial board and the magazine’s guest juror. Accordingly, she was introduced as the Featured Artist of the Fourth Issue of Artistam International Art Magazine.
Short Biography of Nasim Malmir
Nasim Malmir (b. 1987, Nahavand, Iran) is a contemporary jewelry designer based in Semnan. After earning her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Electronics), she pursued practical experience in various artistic fields and later completed her B.A. in Handicrafts at Alzahra University, Tehran. Following graduation, she trained in specialized jewelry-making under master Keyhan Nabavieh.
Her artistic approach centers on reinterpreting traditional Iranian structures through a contemporary lens. Each piece reflects themes of cultural identity, history, nature, and environmental concerns—creating a dialogue between ancient heritage and personal expression today. Malmir’s works have been exhibited at the Fifth National Handicrafts Exhibition, the First International Simorgh Exhibition, the National Handicrafts Festival Ganjineh, and the Semnan Visual Arts Exhibition.
