Description: This project is conceived as a reinterpretation of the sacred architectural features of Saqānfars in Mazandaran — traditional wooden structures that once hosted ritual ceremonies at the heart of village communities. The hat’s square geometry echoes the foundational plan of these shrines, while its curved front, inspired by the carved gateways and inscriptions of Saqānfars, serves as a symbolic threshold between the material and the spiritual. Motifs drawn from the sun and dragon mythology embody cosmic forces deeply rooted in Persian tradition. Through this work, I seek to transform the grandeur and spirituality of historical forms into ornaments that are not merely worn, but possess a commanding presence — creations that seem to dwell upon the body rather than be possessed by it; a bridge between ritual, myth, and contemporary aesthetics.
